When Donald Trump appointed Jeff Sessions as attorney general, an Alabama Senate seat was left unoccupied. Today until 8pm, the citizens of Alabama are voting to see who will take over the seat.
The two candidates in the running are Roy Moore and Doug Jones.
Republican candidate, Roy Moore has been popping up in the news lately due to sexual misconduct allegations with minors, but Trump is publicly supporting Moore.
If the Democratic candidate, Doug Jones wins, Republican’s Senate advantage would become scarce.
