The annual “Cy-Hawk” football game between the 2 largest universities in Iowa took place last Saturday, and it wasn’t much of a contest. The game was held in Iowa City, home of the Hawkeyes, who dominated their longtime rival, The Iowa State Cyclones. The final score was 42 to 3. Coming off an undefeated regular season, The Hawkeyes are looking to continue their streak as an elite team, while the Cyclones are hoping to finish the season without a zero in the win column. The all time record between the two teams isn’t that close either, for a supposed rivalry. Starting in 1909, the Hawks lead the series 43 games to 26.
