Adam LaRoach, a former White Sox infielder who had been playing Major League Baseball for 12 years and 6 different teams including 4 years with Washington.
Adam had announced retirement on March 18, 2016 when the teams club president Kenny Williams had asked Adam had asked to cut back on his 14 year old sons time in the clubhouse.
Adam had walked away from a $13 million on his two year contract with the White Six club.
He then tweeted saying, “Thank u Lord for the game of baseball and for giving me way more than I ever deserved!#FamilyFirst”
Bryce Harper then tweeted, “Good for you Roche! Nothing like father and son in the clubhouse..It’s a FAMILY game #FamilyFirst”
